Why is it worth studying this specialty? The lack of engineering specialists in Lithuania has approached a critical limit, becoming a serious obstacle to economic growth. It is undoubtedly one of the most promising professions of this era, with the onset of the Industry 4.0 revolution. Production volumes are growing, the industry is increasingly digitized, and robotization processes are taking place in companies. Naturally, someone must work and maintain all this equipment, control the production processes. The need for engineers is increasing every day in all regions. In Klaipėda, this is very noticeable, because specialists are snatched away already during their studies. Therefore, the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, municipalities and business companies, in order to encourage young people to choose engineering specialties that are at first glance more difficult, but offer more opportunities in the future, have established incentive scholarships. Incentive scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in state-funded engineering (Electrical and Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Transport Engineering), information technology (Informatics, Informatics Engineering) programs. Students of the automotive transport engineering study program have the opportunity to receive: 200 €/month allocated by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation. scholarship for the entire year of study (only after entering state-funded study places); Klaipėda City Municipality €300/month. scholarship for 10 months (only after entering with a competitive score ≥5.0). A car is not a simple thing, but a serious and complex machine, as every car lover will agree. And how can you resist that shine, that buzz, that speed and that unexpected beep? Can you imagine life without a car? For many, a car is more than a vehicle. It is a means of self-expression and part of the image, a symbol of comfort and progress, and of course, a means of communication that has made our daily lives easier. Or maybe you have your dream car? Want to build it yourself? Do you want to increase the power or "tune" your car? Do you want to know more about the history and development of cars, construction and assemblies, their operation and maintenance? If so, then you need to choose the Automotive Transport Engineering specialty, which you will learn and try out while studying.
