This is an intensive online one-year MBA programme Customs Process Management which focuses on the preparation of high-level managers for business and public sector organizations operating in the field of customs. The studies are distance learning and are adapted to students working in business. Part of the study courses are taught by foreign teachers, so students will study the field of customs in a global context. Students studying in this program will gain a greater understanding of business processes management in the field of customs, will be able to solve practical management problems of business cooperating with customs, to suggest and implement innovations in business, taking in account new risk arising in customs area, environmental requirements and sustainable development of customs; will acquire the tax competencies required for the administration and management of customs duties; will be able to know and evaluate business models, including the supply chains required to manage international trade and anticipate the specifics of the taxation of international transactions. After graduation, you will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The study programme Customs Process Management is unique and is characterized by interdisciplinarity, as 40 % courses bring together the disciplines of taxes, customs, supply chains and communications. Other study courses are focused directly on customs, tax policy, business development. The study programme was prepared considering global changes. The report "The Future of Customs in the EU 2040" shows that the need to adapt to the transformation of global trade is increasing. Multidisciplinary between customs processes, tax administration is an integral part of any forecasting process. New legislation fills the customs policy with new obligations. A growing world population, increasing climate change pressures and a global situation where exports and imports cannot be taken for granted have led to greater urbanisation, greater competition for land and greater demand for local resources, leading to more pollution and loss of biodiversity. The customs authorities of some Member States are experiencing difficulties in carrying out their functions in accordance with European Union standards as set out in the Union Customs Code, mainly due to a lack of resources. Difficulties are experienced due to incompletely implemented common policies and barriers. Therefore, the aim of 2040 is that there are not separate customs offices in the European Union, but rather the European Union customs office. Why Customs Process Management programme? Bachelor degree diploma in the field of accounting, finance, economics, business, management. Proof of English Language: applicant has to present document proving B2 level (TOEFL 87-109 iBT/534-633 PBT, IELTS 5,5-6,5, Cambridge English First (FCE) 161-180, BEC Vantage 161-180, Michigan ECCE (min. 650), PTE General Level 3, TOEIC Listening & Reading 785, TOEIC Speaking & Writing 310, Duolingo 100-125, EnglishScore 400-499) if the applicant is not native speaker and/or had not received education in English. Participation in the motivational interview: organized at a distance, in which the chairman of the study programme, the representative of the Lithuanian Customs Practitioners Association and the selected teacher of the programme participate. Graduates having not less than 3 years of work experience, gained after graduation. Admission score counting is based on: the average of bachelor degree diploma study course * 0.5 + grade of the final thesis of bachelor studies * 0.2 + Motivational interview * 0.3.
